Product Overview

The Mechanical Filter for Water Purification is a pressure-type filtration unit designed to remove suspended solids, colloids, and fine particles from water using natural filter media such as quartz sand, anthracite, or manganese sand. It serves as a key pretreatment device in water purification, industrial water supply, and reverse osmosis systems.

Working Principle

Raw water flows through multiple layers of filter media from top to bottom. Larger particles are intercepted at the surface layer, while smaller colloids and impurities are adsorbed in deeper layers. When the pressure differential rises to a set point, the system performs a backwash to restore filtration capacity.
