Product Overview
The Iron and Manganese Removal Water Filtration System is an
advanced automatic water purification device specially designed for
removing excess iron (Fe²⁺/Fe³⁺) and manganese (Mn²⁺) from
groundwater, well water, and industrial water sources.
The system integrates oxidation, filtration, and automatic backwash
into one compact unit, effectively reducing iron and manganese
concentrations to meet drinking water and industrial standards.
It features high efficiency, stable operation, and fully automatic
control, making it ideal for continuous and unattended operation.
Working Principle
Raw water first passes through an aeration or oxidation stage,
where dissolved iron and manganese ions are oxidized into insoluble
oxides (Fe(OH)₃, MnO₂).
The oxidized particles are then trapped within a special catalytic
filter media bed (such as manganese sand or Birm).
Clean water flows out through the outlet, while the retained solids
are periodically removed by an automatic backwash process
controlled by a pressure differential or timer.
The system may include an air injection system, ozone oxidation
unit, or chemical dosing device depending on the raw water
characteristics.
